New England Crime Bake
In November 2013, I attended my first mystery writers' conference, New England Crime Bake.
I had a great time meeting other mystery writers and learning about the publishing industry,
plus I got a very impressive tote bag with a picture of a lobster wearing handcuffs.
You can learn about the next Crime Bake here.

Belmont Park 2013
Possibly my favorite place in the world!
Here I am at Belmont Park with Tom Marshall and my dear friend Rudy Baffa, Security Crooner. Behind us is the wall with pictures of every Belmont Stakes winner. It's my favorite wall in the world. Well, except for the wall opposite, which has pictures of the Marlboro Cup winners. And the wall with the mural by PEB, which has all the Belmont greats.

Look for me in Miami!
I will be in Miami in January attending the NATPE convention with my very dear friend, filmmaker/playwright Lorraine Portman. This is going to have long-term repercussions throughout the television landscape. But in a good way.
I am bringing my 'ukulele. That will have repercussions, too.
